Tim Carey

Chief Product Director

Tim is our Chief Product Director and overall business lead for Collida. An influential voice in the industry, Tim is passionate about rethinking the built environment. He is a member of the Construction Leadership Council’s Manufacturing Group, a contributor to key government and industry reports and until recently was the chairman of Build offsite – a not for profit industry organisation promoting the use of offsite and pre-manufactured solutions. A fellow of the CIOB, Tim holds an MBA from the University of Reading.

In his spare time, he is a keen guitarist and footballer, and – through Willmott Dixon’s links with UK charity Building Schools for Africa – an official prince of the Nkwen tribe in Cameroon!

Raynee De Zoysa is the Strategic Growth Manager for Collida, focussed on delivering net zero buildings with integrity. Pushing the boundaries by building new partnerships and sourcing opportunities to further establish the importance of creating enriched spaces for local communities.

Having started her career on the ground as a site engineer, where she worked on the London Olympic White Water Rafting Canoeing Centre, Raynee has since taken on roles in delivery, pre-construction, residential and education projects, where she has amassed an extensive skillset.

Leveraging the unique lessons she has experienced from her varied roles in the built environment – Raynee is passionate about STEM, sustainability and placemaking. She is especially inspired to mentor young professionals take their careers – and themselves – to unprecedented levels. When not growing a sustainable construction to a wider audience, Raynee can be found on an exercises bike, spinning to vibrate disco beats at the gym!

Iain is our Head of Design, responsible for our Living, Learning and Wellbeing offerings. Having been with Willmott Dixon since 2003, sustainability remains a core focus. Every aspect of sustainability, from the wellbeing of the people in the homes we build, to the long-term environmental impact of our emissions and materials, drives Iain’s desire to have Collida make a difference, and to be different.

Outside of work, Iain is a self-diagnosed function junkie and enjoys making and fixing things in his shed. A lover of the outdoors, you will often find Iain journeying by bicycle or playing tag rugby.

Lorna is our lead Architect on Collida Living. As a qualified Architect, Lorna has not only worked at two of the world’s most prestigious architecture firms, but throughout her time in the industry, she specialised in designing architecture as a product, designed for manufacture. With a keen interest in environmental sustainability, Lorna is also a LEED accredited professional who has experience working on Passivhaus projects.

Lorna has true love for anything creative. This also continues outside of work, whether it is casting concrete, making furniture or knitting up a storm, Lorna loves to turn a hand to anything creative.

David is our lead Architect on Collida Learning. During his many years of study, and since qualifying as an Architect, David has worked on the contractor side of the building industry. He has experience working on range of projects across different industry sectors and work stages but specialises in education buildings. He is passionate about using technical innovation and environmentally responsible design to create high quality, comfortable learning environments to enable and inspire our next generation of students.

Away from work, David likes to design and build timber furniture and, having grown up in a dairy farming family, loves to experience our great outdoors through road cycling, running and long countryside walks with his family.

Head of Procurement

Neil brings over 15 years in procurement and commercial management experience to Collida. He has a desire to think differently and to improve how construction procurement is delivered so that it becomes simple, efficient, and collaborative whilst driving real value to customers.

Outside of his role, Neil is a keen cyclist, and likes to keep active outdoors. You can often find Neil cycling the coast roads of Norfolk on his single speed!

Paul is our Lean Manager. An experienced Lean leader and practitioner, Paul has been developing sustainable continuous improvement cultures and implementing Lean business systems within organisations over the last 20 years. As a manufacturing and supply chain expert, Paul has worked with business including Corus, Electrolux, Honda, Caterpillar, Rolls Royce, Philips and Burberry, delivering significant operational improvements through the strategic and practical application of Lean thinking.

 

Within the team, Paul is responsible for the continuous improvement of Collida’s offering, systems, operations and processes whilst ensuring they deliver exceptional customer value.

 

Away from work, Paul is a dab hand in the kitchen with a real passion for cooking. To offset the calories this entails, he is also a keen runner!

As a qualified Architectural Technologist, Nigel has been fortunate to work in different parts of the world and be involved in some prestigious schemes, which helped him gain valuable experience in the process. Nigel enjoys collaborating with the many contributors to the design process and is passionate about the built environment and sustainability.

Outside of work, Nigel really enjoys learning the thought process and back-stories of anything creative such as art, music, architecture, sport.

Visualisation Platform Engineer

Since a young age Terry has been fascinated with video games and their artistry. Starting from designing game levels and their characters at his dining room table and through a degree in 3D Games Art, Terry found real passion in assembling and creating environments in the digital space. At Collida, Terry is able to combine the digital and the physical worlds to positively affect people’s lives.

As such, Terry is our Visualisation Platform Engineer. He is all things CGI and his skillset is diverse, spanning through 3D modelling to video game programming. He specialises in crafting bespoke experiences using game engine technology, and is the developer of our immersive visualisation platform, a powerful communication tool unique to Collida. Using this, Collida are able to provide their customers with a better experience of their project from start to finish, giving them the power to customize, visualise, and more importantly, understand their product.

Away from the office and while he’s not entertaining his two small children, Terry is a self-confessed geek, and is infatuated with the Star Wars universe. He also has a keen interest in the sport of snooker, having spent many days of his teenage years competing and practising.

Before joining Collida, Connor specialised in the restoration and extension of historic & listed buildings. Connor’s experience ranges through a broad spectrum of sectors with a particular focus on residential and ecclesiastical architecture. Throughout his university degree and beyond Connor has also had a strong interest in sustainability and standardisation, which lead him to Collida. Since joining Collida, Connor has developed his understanding of the Passivhaus principles in the context of standardised designs; he hopes to use this to make a difference in the way we design where we live, learn and care for ourselves.

When Connor is not enjoying his spare time at a theme park, he can be found exploring culture and heritage sites across the UK, Europe and the World. Here he finds inspiration in the magnificence and beauty of ancient art and architecture.

Asal is our Architectural Assistant Part 2 on Collida Learning. Before joining Collida, as a designer, she explored the different workstreams of residential, education and recreational construction, working in the Middle East and the UK.

Asal is passionate about sustainability and simplicity. She loves a challenge and is driven in bringing all the pieces of the puzzle together, which is why she migrated to the UK to pursue her dream of being an Architect.

Outside of work, Asal enjoys traveling and listening to classical music – especially the violin, which she used to play.

Tom is our Commercial Assistant, providing support in procurement, finance, and other commercial areas. Tom joined Collida from Willmott Dixon’s Central Finance team where he worked in Bought Ledger for over 5 years. Tom holds MAAT status, having completed his AAT studies.

Outside of work, Tom is the drummer for a covers band and a keen golfer when time allows.
