Meet our team

The Collida team is drawn from both within and outside of the construction industry. This keeps our thinking fresh and our knowledge deep.

Tim Carey

Chief Product Director

Tim Carey

Chief Product Director

Tim is our Chief Product Director and overall business lead for Collida. An influential voice in the industry, Tim is passionate about rethinking the built environment. He is a member of the Construction Leadership Council’s Manufacturing Group, a contributor to key government and industry reports and until recently was the chairman of Build offsite – a not for profit industry organisation promoting the use of offsite and pre-manufactured solutions. A fellow of the CIOB, Tim holds an MBA from the University of Reading.

In his spare time, he is a keen guitarist and footballer, and – through Willmott Dixon’s links with UK charity Building Schools for Africa – an official prince of the Nkwen tribe in Cameroon!

Iain Clark

Iain Clark

Head of Design

Iain is our Head of Design, responsible for our Living, Learning and Wellbeing offerings. Having been with Willmott Dixon since 2003, sustainability remains a core focus. Every aspect of sustainability, from the wellbeing of the people in the homes we build, to the long-term environmental impact of our emissions and materials, drives Iain’s desire to have Collida make a difference, and to be different.

Outside of work, Iain is a self-diagnosed function junkie and enjoys making and fixing things in his shed. A lover of the outdoors, you will often find Iain journeying by bicycle or playing tag rugby.

Lorna Taverner

Lorna Taverner

Lead Architect, Collida Living

Lorna is our lead Architect on Collida Living. As a qualified Architect, Lorna has not only worked at two of the world’s most prestigious architecture firms, but throughout her time in the industry, she specialised in designing architecture as a product, designed for manufacture. With a keen interest in environmental sustainability, Lorna is also a LEED accredited professional who has experience working on Passivhaus projects.

Lorna has true love for anything creative. This also continues outside of work, whether it is casting concrete, making furniture or knitting up a storm, Lorna lives to turn a hand to anything creative.

David Williams

Lead Architect, Collida Learning

David Williams

Lead Architect, Collida Learning

David is our lead Architect on Collida Learning. During his many years of study, and since qualifying as an Architect, David has worked on the contractor side of the building industry. He has experience working on range of projects across different industry sectors and work stages but specialises in education buildings. He is passionate about using technical innovation and environmentally responsible design to create high quality, comfortable learning environments to enable and inspire our next generation of students.

Away from work, David likes to design and build timber furniture and, having grown up in a dairy farming family, loves to experience our great outdoors through road cycling, running and long countryside walks with his family.

Greater than the sum of our parts

Excellent outcomes can only be delivered with excellent inputs. At Collida we only work with partners who share our values – particularly our core belief that our customers deserve an experience that is not just different, but significantly better than more traditional ways of working.

We bring together leading designers, tech firms, and component manufacturers – and dare them to think differently, challenge established norms, and integrate our combined knowledge into smarter solutions.
